“Private” describes access, not a guaranteed outcome
CAM4 support describes per-minute and fixed-rate private-show options, with spy viewing possible where enabled. The specific broadcaster controls availability and visible terms, so visitors should verify the exact offer.
Identify
Confirm whether the offer is per minute, fixed duration, group-based or another format.
Calculate
Read the displayed rate and decide the maximum time or total tokens.
Exit deliberately
Know where the end control is and stop when your limit or boundary is reached.
01
Per-minute and fixed-rate formats
Official CAM4 documentation explains that per-minute private shows continue until the viewer lacks tokens or one party ends the session. Fixed-rate private shows sell a defined block of time for a displayed token amount.
These formats should not be compared using the room rate alone. A fixed block gives a known duration, while a per-minute session requires an explicit maximum-time decision.
02
Spy and group viewing
Where enabled, spy viewers may watch a private broadcast without participating in its private chat and pay a separate rate. CAM4 also documents group shows that can use ticket-style access.
Read the current room label rather than assuming the word private means only two people can view every part of the broadcast.
- Check who can view and who can chat.
- Confirm whether the charge is per minute or a fixed block.
- Notice whether an extension requires another purchase.
- Keep identifying information out of the interaction.
03
Cost and boundary planning
For a time-based session, multiply the current rate by the maximum planned duration. For a block, confirm the token total and what happens when time expires.
Private interaction remains subject to consent and platform rules. Do not assume that paying guarantees a particular act, response or outcome.
04
After the show ends
Confirm that the paid format has ended and review available account records. On a shared device, sign out and clear saved credentials where appropriate.
If a charge appears inconsistent with the terms you saw, preserve the relevant confirmation and contact the official support route with specific details.
